As pessoas são mais subjetivas que racionais diante de situações de perigo e, o sistema de catalogação dos acidentes de trabalho foi concebido dentro de um horizonte muito racional,por conseguinte, há informações perdidas que poderiam ser utilizadas para reduzir os acidentes. O artigo analisa a percepção de risco do trabalhador Petrobras do Conjunto Pituba no exercício do papel de motorista, partindo do pressuposto que não há diferenças significativas entre a percepção dos motoristas comuns e a dos motoristas experts. Mesmo estes últimos possuindo maior nível de informações sobre os aspectos da segurança, a combinação da homogeneidade dos grupos com o baixo nível de assimetria de informações entre eles, para a atividade de dirigir, reproduz curvas de percepção de risco semelhantes.

The people are more subjective than rational ahead of danger situations and, the cataloguing system them industrial accidents were conceived inside of a very rational horizon, therefore, she has lost information that they could be used to reduce the accidents. The article analyzes the perception of risk of the Petrobras worker of the Pituba Set in the exercise of the driver paper, leaving of the estimated one that it does not have significant differences between the perception of the common drivers and of the drivers experts. Exactly these last ones possessing bigger level of information on the aspects of the security, the combination of the homogeneity of the groups with the low level of asymmetry of information between them, for the activity to direct, reproduce similar curves of risk perception.
